New Ethernet Access Services

  • Verizon has executed a contract addendum adding new ethernet access services at 10 Mbps, 100 Mbps, and 1Gbps.   Verizon calls this "Transparent LAN Services" or TLS.  TLS offers a very cost effective alternative to the ATM access services that will continue to be available.  Currently TLS is an intraLATA service only since there is not yet a corresponding addendum with Sprint for backbone access.  The Verizon addendum is available for download from the Service Agreements section of the Network Virginia web page.

For more information, please contact your Verizon sales representative or Les Jackson at 804-527-6772.
